Satomi Ito is a costume designer based in Tokyo, Japan.
After studying Fashion Design at Esmod Japon Tokyo, she attained BA(Hons) Fashion Design at Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
Upon returning to Japan, she worked at leading Japanese dancewear company for 4years, where she gained her expertise as a costume designer.
She established her own business in 2015 and has been designing costumes and dresses for top figure skaters both in Japan and abroad.

Her designs are characterized by vibrant color gradients and intricate detailing. While she specializes in floral and romantic motifs, she also enjoys creating decadent, dark designs and those that evoke the human body. Her work embodies duality—black and white, beauty and ugliness—and both aspects are expressions of her creativity. She creates without being confined to any particular style.
